Ice-hockey in Hluboká

Photographing ice-hockey in an open ice-skating ring is always fun. We have got snow, basically the first snow this winter. Looking at most of my ice-hockey photos from that place, I either get snowflakes, or frozen plexi barriers, or both. I love photographing sports from the lowest possible angle. Kind of tough here. I would definitely find some good use for a pair of kneepads, since standing bent to get that lower angle just did not work, and kneeling was really, really, really cold. Haven't I thought about that last year again and again? And a regional league game with many goals, a bit of fighting, f-words from the stands, blood on the ice was a complete experience. Interesting...
